Lowe’s Grand Opening Marks Major Economic Milestone for Magnolia

Magnolia, TX — May 2025 — The City of Magnolia proudly welcomes the grand opening of Lowe’s Home Improvement at 4427 Magnolia Village Drive, a transformative addition to the local economy and a catalyst for continued growth in the region.

The new store spans approximately 109,000 square feet of indoor retail space, complemented by an outdoor garden center, making it one of the largest commercial developments in the area. The project, with an estimated construction cost of $10.4 million, was privately funded and completed in early 2025 . 

Employing over 100 local residents, the store brings new job opportunities and enhances Magnolia’s retail landscape, offering a comprehensive range of home improvement products and services. The grand opening, held May 9th included a community celebrations and charitable contributions to local organizations, including the Magnolia Fire Department, Magnolia ISD, and the PTSD Foundation of America.

“Lowe’s investment in Magnolia underscores our city’s appeal as a thriving hub for business and community development,” said City of Magnolia Mayor Matthew Dantzer. “This opening not only boosts our local economy but also reinforces our commitment to fostering a vibrant and prosperous community.”
